The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Partridge tries to clinch but Dillion moves out of range.

Dillion changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Partridge looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dillion has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Partridge got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dillion has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Partridge has managed to get both his arms back between Dillion's legs - danger averted.
