PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ludovicus De Jong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eino Nappi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nappi has chosen O Fortuna as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Eino Nappi told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ludovicus De Jong!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Jong attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Nappi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but De Jong paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from De Jong lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Nappi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nappi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Nappi crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from De Jong - the referee stops the clock and Nappi gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says De Jong. Nappi manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
