Gomes closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Exfivt struggling a bit here.
Exfivt is looking for a sweep.

Gomes thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Gomes is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Exfivt has escaped the position, nice work there.
Exfivt is looking to regain half guard here but Gomes keeps moving and retains side control.
