Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Koyasako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igot Jits (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tommy Koyasako!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Igot Jits!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jits shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Koyasako as he avoids it easily.
Jits takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Koyasako goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Koyasako throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jits crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Koyasako - the referee stops the clock and Jits gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Koyasako. Jits manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Koyasako pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jits blocks a head kick by Koyasako.
Koyasako looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Jits takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Koyasako scores with a leg kick.
Jits sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Koyasako connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Jits looks gassed!
Koyasako tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jits shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Koyasako sprawls well. Koyasako wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jits gets slowly back to his feet.
Koyasako dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jits. That did some damage!

Koyasako thows a body kick. Jits tries to catch it but that hurt him.
A slapping leg kick lands for Koyasako.
Koyasako fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jits.
Jits on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Koyasako goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Koyasako lands a head kick. Jits smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Good leg kick by Koyasako there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Jits stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Koyasako.
Both fighters circling a little - Koyasako finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Koyasako misses with a head kick.
Koyasako scores with a nice body kick.
Koyasako throws a nice head kick!
Jits steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Koyasako. That one must have hurt.
Koyasako turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Tommy Koyasako seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Koyasako throws a quick inside leg kick.
Jits takes a head kick and keeps coming.
A slapping body kick lands there for Koyasako.
Jits takes a kick to the side of the head.
Koyasako scores with a head kick.
Koyasako throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Koyasako.
Koyasako lands with a slapping head kick.

Koyasako throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Jits's head.
Jits is rocked!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Koyasako! Jits is out on his feet! Koyasako rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Jits is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Jits is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tommy Koyasako!
