The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Couturee scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Couturee lands a decent elbow from side control.
Couturee landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Couturee wants to lay and pray for a moment but White keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Couturee goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, White has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Couturee but great work by White.
White wants to control but Couturee is keeping him busy.

Couturee might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Couturee closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Couturee takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Couturee is trying to work for a kimura but White is defending well.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Couturee accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

White scores with a crisp jab that stopped Couturee in his tracks.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
White lands a right hook to the body.
White looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Horrible takedown by Couturee or perhaps it was just good defense by White which made him look bad.

A lazy left from White finds it's target.
White moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Couturee takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Couturee ducks right into an uppercut from White.
White fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Couturee on the side of the head.

The crowd cheers as White lands an impressive looking overhand right. Couturee doesn't seem phased though.
Oh Couturee is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
White bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Power White seems to be getting the better of the standup.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
White throws a nice inside leg kick.
White moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Couturee seems to have got his legs back now.
Couturee stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from White.

White closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Couturee! White dives in looking to finish! Couturee is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
