Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Sichev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yuri Sichev could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jack Johnson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Ivan Kurochkin and Igor Prikhodko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sichev as he jumps to the side.
Johnson shoots in but Sichev avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Sichev closes the distance and pushes Johnson back into the cage.
Johnson is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Sichev is defending well for now.

Johnson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sichev fights it off and pushes away nicely.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sichev as he avoids it easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Sichev feints and as Johnson raises his hands in defense, Sichev changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sichev stays in close to Johnson's body and controls the position.
Sichev has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Sichev gets to his feet - Johnson follows without any prompting.

Johnson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sichev walks away with a smile on his face. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Sichev escapes and gets back to his feet.
Sichev throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Sichev gets the takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sichev decides to stand back up. Sichev steps back and let's Johnson get back to his feet.

Sichev really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Sichev wants to land a leg kick but Johnson is out of range.

Sichev tightens his grip and picks Johnson up, before dumping him to the ground. Johnson manages to land in guard.
Sichev controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Sichev stands and throws Johnson's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Sichev moves into full mount!
Sichev controlling the position easily from mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Sichev takes the fight into the clinch.
Johnson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sichev just stands there and leans against the cage.
Johnson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sichev smiles and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sichev misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Johnson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Sichev gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Sichev lands a takedown into guard.
Sichev is stalling in the full guard.
Sichev pushes down on Johnson's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Sichev is pressing down on Johnson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Johnson is holding on for now.
Sichev will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Johnson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Sichev perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Sichev is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Johnson!
