Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alvaro De Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Moe E Thai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alvaro De Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Moe E Thai!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thai checks the leg kick nicely there.

De Silva closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
De Silva not landing any meaningful shots this time.

De Silva is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Thai doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time De Silva.

De Silva seems to be looking for submissions.

De Silva works his way into side control.
De Silva tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

De Silva is trying to get an arm triangle but Thai is defending well.

De Silva wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Thai, who protects the arm well.

De Silva is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Thai has escaped the position, nice work there.

De Silva looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
De Silva is breathing heavily.

De Silva is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Thai is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

De Silva advances to mount.
Thai is trying to stand up.

De Silva is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Thai to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Thai shrugs it off.
Thai wants to get back to his feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

De Silva working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
De Silva wants to take Thai's back here but Thai is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Thai squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

De Silva looking for a guillotine from mount but Thai is having none of it.
Thai is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alvaro De Silva dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Thai fakes high and swings low for a body shot but De Silva manages to avoid it.

De Silva shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

De Silva is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Thai defends it well.

De Silva is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Thai is just riding it out for now. De Silva eventually gives up the hold.
Thai wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

De Silva not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
De Silva is keen to just control but Thai is a slippery customer.
De Silva throwing shots but Thai is blocking nicely.
Thai keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

De Silva is trying to work for a kimura but Thai is defending well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Thai tries to push off, looking to stand up, but De Silva manages to move to mount!
De Silva tries to control but Thai wriggling away.
De Silva misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Thai wants to get back to his feet but in bucking up he's left an arm hanging out! De Silva has locked onto it and has pulled off a slick armbar! Thai taps furiously! This one is all over!
