Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ichi The Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Oikawab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oikawab shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts The Killer as he jumps to the side.

The Killer throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Oikawab was covering up waiting for the punch and The Killer finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Oikawab can do anything to dispel that myth.

Oikawab gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and The Killer decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Oikawab's guard.

Oikawab is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of The Killer's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take The Killer's back!
I really don't envy The Killer right now.
Oikawab has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of The Killer's body.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Oikawab takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

The Killer shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than The Killer was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
