Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Victor Kovas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Borre Oppeboen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kovas kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bankrobber by The Clash . This should be a great matchup!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Borre Oppeboen!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Viktor Lagutenko and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovas misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Oppeboen.
A big left from Oppeboen misses.
Oppeboen throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Oppeboen connects with the punch.
Victor Kovas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kovas stalks Oppeboen and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Oppeboen's face. Oppeboen staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Borre Oppeboen has been cut.
Kovas throws the left hand but Oppeboen avoids the punch easily.
Oppeboen with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kovas to score with a decent uppercut.
Kovas scores with a one two! Oppeboen had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kovas misses the body punch
and Oppeboen makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Oppeboen ducks under a wild hook from Kovas.
Kovas scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
A decent looking cross lands there for Oppeboen.
Kovas throws a combination that misses
and Oppeboen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A shot to the body from Oppeboen misses
and Kovas counters with a straight right hand.
That has opened up Borre Oppeboen's cut even more.
Oppeboen moves in looking to clinch but Kovas pushes him off.
Kovas lands a big uppercut and Oppeboen crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Oppeboen looks OK. Kovas waves Oppeboen back to his feet!
Oppeboen is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kovas throws a jab but it's blocked by Oppeboen.
Oppeboen is still on wobbly legs! Can Kovas finish him?
Oppeboen keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kovas.
Oppeboen seems to have recovered his senses.
Oppeboen slips under a jab from Kovas.
Kovas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Oppeboen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Oppeboen, right into the meat.
Oppeboen throws a sloppy body shot
and Kovas connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kovas blocks a jab.
Kovas throws a looping overhand right but Oppeboen ducks down to avoid it.
Kovas lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Oppeboen can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Kovas and Oppeboen drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Kovas.
