PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sammy Flash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kick Flip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sammy Flash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kick Flip!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flash tries to close the distance and clinch but Flip swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Flip shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Flip showed some decent athleticism there.
Flash wants to control but Flip is keeping busy.

Flash is looking for a triangle but Flip pushes his legs off easily.

Flash has his foot on Flip's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Flip works his way back into a safe position though.

Flip got a little sloppy there for a moment and Flash has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Flip has managed to get both his arms back between Flash's legs - danger averted.

Flash working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Flip doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Flip manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Flash is not content to let Flip control the position.
Flip is nestled in close to Flash, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

That's time! Flash's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!


No luck with that takedown attempt from Flip.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kick Flip is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Flash accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Flash has gone for a leg lock! Flip slips out almost immediately though and dives into Flash's guard.
Flash can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Flip controls the pace.
Sammy Flash has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Flip stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Flash swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Flip trying to control the position from guard on top but Flash is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

And that's the end of the fight!
Kick Flip comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Flip winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
