The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fergieson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

It looks like Plato Doom has been cut.
Donk. Fergieson catches Doom right on the button with a cross.
Doom misses with a double jab.
Doom closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fergieson circles away.

and Doom counters by moving into the clinch.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Fergieson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Doom's waist but Doom gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fergieson off to one side.

Fergieson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Doom turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Fergieson off and cradles Doom's limp body as Fergieson celebrates with his corner.
