The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Povetkin throws a hook but Stanislav avoids it easily.
Stanislav throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Stanislav misses with a two punch combination.
Povetkin is looking to clinch but Stanislav is avoiding it.
Povetkin swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Stanislav cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Stanislav circles away from the clinch attempt.
Povetkin throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Stanislav to counter with a crisp jab.
Povetkin is looking to clinch.
Povetkin shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Stanislav defends it nicely.
Povetkin takes one to the chin there.

A lazy left from Stanislav finds it's target.
Stanislav throws a series of punches but Povetkin moves out of range.
Stanislav drops Povetkin with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Povetkin! Stanislav dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
