The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Merit throws a right and a left that both miss.
Merit looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Merit displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as skarstan throws out the jab.
Merit avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
