The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Smith lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Penn circles away quickly and effectively.

Smith throws a hook but Penn blocks it.

Smith lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Penn throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Smith counters with a series of strikes. Penn will be more careful next time no doubt.

Smith throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Penn stumbling backwards into the cage! Penn bounces back off the cage towards Smith, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Smith lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Smith celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
