Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vlad Tapisht (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ullas Aslan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tapisht comes into the arena with Evanescence: Bring Me To Life blaring out of the sound system. Vlad Tapisht could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ullas Aslan's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aslan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tapisht.
Aslan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tapisht.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Aslan is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Tapisht is defending well for now.
Tapisht wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vlad Tapisht. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Aslan is pressed up against the cage. Tapisht has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Aslan down to the mat. Aslan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tapisht thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tapisht loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Tapisht drops back looking for a leg! Aslan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Aslan manages to kick Tapisht off! Tapisht jumps back into Aslan's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Tapisht throws a half hearted mid kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Aslan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Tapisht has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Tapisht and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

and Tapisht counters with a single leg into guard. Aslan didn't expect that.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Aslan wants to clinch up but Tapisht keeps it at a distance.
Aslan misses with a takedown attempt - Tapisht sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Tapisht throws a hook but Aslan avoids it easily.

Tapisht motions for Aslan to come forward. Tapisht throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Aslan shoots for a double leg takedown but Tapisht sprawls well. He's pushed Aslan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tapisht blocks a head kick by Aslan.

Tapisht decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Tapisht is trying to work for a kimura but Aslan is defending well.

Tapisht is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Aslan is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
