The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Komota connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
No joy there for Komota, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Komota with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Komota dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Griffin. That did some damage!
Griffin throws a sloppy head kick and Komota moves out of range easily.
Griffin has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Komota.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Komota.
Griffin is breathing heavily.
Komota scores with a kick to the midsection.
Shane Griffin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Komota darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Griffin takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Griffin is rocked!
Komota closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Griffin! Komota dives in looking to finish! Griffin is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
