And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, cerebreus Rage!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ko shoots for a takedown but Rage saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
cerebreus Rage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

No joy there for Rage, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Ko. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Ko shoots for a double leg takedown but Rage sprawls well. He's pushed Ko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Ko shoots in looking for a takedown. Rage tries to sprawl out of it but Ko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rage manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Ko shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rage's guard.

Ko drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ko jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rage can do anything to dispel that myth.
Ko is looking to work some ground and pound but Rage has wrist control.
