The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Arifi is trying to defend but Harris finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Harris tries to pass to full mount but Arifi defends it.
Nice strikes from Harris there.
Harris scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Arifi trying to control but Harris postures up.
Harris wants to take a breather but Arifi is having none of it.
Harris thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Arifi's head.
Arifi moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Arifi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Harris lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Harris trying to control but Arifi is working from the bottom.
Harris has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Arifi to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Harris is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Arifi pulls down on the head and he's put Harris to sleep! This one is all over!
