Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnathon Caines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caines comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lose Yourself by Eminem kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Collins lands a big shot that drops Caines! Can he finish him?

It looks like Johnathon Caines has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Collins is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Collins trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Collins is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Collins is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Caines working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Collins doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Collins manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Collins is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Collins pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Caines is keeping the position for now.
Collins trying to control the position from guard on top but Caines is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Collins is working Caines over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Collins drops back looking for a leg! Caines is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Caines manages to kick Collins off! Collins jumps back into Caines's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Caines looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Collins passes into side control.
Collins lands some shots froms side control.
Collins postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Collins swings around for an armbar but Caines sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Collins's guard.
Caines wants to control from the top but Collins keeps moving.
Caines is looking to advance position but Collins has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Caines is trying to escape the mount.

Collins lands with some strikes.
Caines is in a horrible position here. Collins smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Caines looks gassed!

Collins has control of Caines's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Caines regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Collins putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Collins landing punches.
Collins is landing with some decent strikes but Caines is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Caines is trying to escape the mount.

Collins looking for a guillotine from mount but Caines is having none of it.

Collins is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Collins extends the arm and Caines is forced to tap!
