The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elber lands with a nice body punch.
Elber scores with a hook.
Raider on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Elber avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Raider takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Elber connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Elber is looking to wear down Raider with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Raider misses with a few strikes there.

Elber scores with a hook to the body. Raider takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Raider walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Elber connects with a good right hand that stumbles Raider. Raider circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Elber throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Raider on the side of the head.
Fabricio Elber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Raider shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Elber pinned against the cage. Elber gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Raider walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Elber lunges at Raider with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Raider's hand.
Elber stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Raider misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Elber.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Raider throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Raider shoots in for a double leg but Elber sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Elber uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Raider has time to react.
Elber thuds a left hand into Raider's body.
Elber is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Raider takes one on the button.
Elber lands with an uppercut that bounces Raider off the cage and back into rage.
Elber tests Raider's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Raider tries to move into range but Elber moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Elber connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Nice straight punches there by Elber. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Elber.

Raider drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Raider is still on wobbly legs! Can Elber finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Elber stuns Raider with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Raider walks into a stiff left hand from Elber.
Elber drops Raider with a straight right hand, right on the button! Elber follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
