The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jax drops bob with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but bob looks back up at him and smiles so Jax waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like billy bob has been cut.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
bob has a takedown stuffed.
A head kick from bob lands but Jax takes it in his stride.
Jax loads up on a big right hand but bob slips the punch.
bob shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jax sprawls well. Jax wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. bob gets slowly back to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jax throws an uppercut from half a mile away. bob sees it coming and avoids it easily.
bob fails in his attempt to clinch.
bob throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Jax looks to land a combination but bob avoids it well.
Jax rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but bob moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

The fight stays on the outside here - bob looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

bob displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jax throws out the jab.

Well Jax has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
