The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chim tries for a takedown but Flores sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Flores stuffs the takedown.
Chim shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Flores sprawls well. Flores wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Chim gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dong Chim. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Flores keeps the fight on the outside.
Chim circles away from the clinch attempt.
Chim tries for a takedown but Flores sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Flores closes the distance and clinches.

Flores presses Chim against the ropes and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Flores's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Flores wants to get up but he can't break Chim's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Flores slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Flores cracks Chim with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Flores is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Chim knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Chim shoots in and drives through. Flores sprawls well.
Chim shoots for a double leg takedown but Flores sprawls well. He's pushed Chim's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Chim takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Flores darts in and clinches Chim up against the ropes.

Flores breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
