The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by McMaster there.

Depiculi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
McMaster defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Depiculi.

McMaster drops Depiculi with a beautiful combination! Depiculi stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - McMaster is looking for the KO!


It looks like Guilherme Depiculi has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Depiculi closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. McMaster did well to prevent Depiculi getting side control.

Depiculi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so McMaster is just riding it out for now. Depiculi eventually gives up the hold.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Depiculi shoots in for a takedown but McMaster shows good takedown defense.
McMaster throws a nice looking combination but Depiculi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Depiculi wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by McMaster, who protects the arm well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McMaster is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Depiculi off and has taken his back!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

McMaster throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Depiculi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McMaster swivels and escapes.
McMaster connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Depiculi momentarily.

Depiculi moves out of range of the body kick from McMaster.
McMaster throws a combination. Depiculi tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
McMaster stalks Depiculi and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Depiculi's face. Depiculi staggers backwards, shaken.
Depiculi has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

McMaster throws a right and a left that both miss.
McMaster lands a jab-cross combination.
McMaster displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Depiculi tries to score a power double leg takedown but McMaster sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Depiculi somewhat.
McMaster lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

And that's the end of the fight!
Roger McMaster showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for McMaster, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
