And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, lil hurt!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Vladimir Khabensky and Illya Tyunina.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shishkin connects with the punch.
hurt misses with a series of wild punches.
hurt looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
hurt slips a jab from Shishkin.
hurt rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shishkin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Shishkin closes the distance and clinches.
hurt wants to get back to striking at distance but Shishkin won't allow it.

hurt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
hurt throws a low kick but it's checked well by Shishkin.
hurt fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Shishkin lands with a kick to the temple. hurt shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
A head kick misses from Shishkin.
Shishkin misses with the combination.
hurt shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Shishkin but Shishkin pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Shishkin is looking to clinch.
hurt tries to score a power double leg takedown but Shishkin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten hurt somewhat.
Alexey Shishkin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of lil hurt.

Shishkin clinches up with hurt and pushes him back against the cage.
Shishkin is pressed up against the cage. hurt has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Shishkin down to the mat. Shishkin avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
hurt looks gassed!
