Slater comes to the cage accompanied by Dragonforce-Operation Ground and Pound. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slater slaps away a takedown attempt from Johnson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Johnson.
Johnson shoots for a double leg takedown but Slater sprawls well. He's pushed Johnson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Freddy Slater has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of TJ Johnson.

Slater drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
