Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aon Fillman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lex Ruthless (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruthless thuds a left hand into Fillman's body.
A bone on bone clash there as Fillman blocks the leg kick.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Fillman.
Ruthless is looking for a sweep.
Ruthless gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Fillman working over Ruthless with some ground and pound. Ruthless looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Fillman drops an elbow to the side of Ruthless's head.
Ruthless is controlling Fillman's trapped leg to prevent Fillman from advancing to side control.

Fillman seems to be working for a kimura but Ruthless defends the submission attempt.
Fillman frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Ruthless tries to reverse the position but Fillman maintains control.
Ruthless wants to hold on but Fillman pushes him away.
Ruthless can't escape the position.
Fillman trying to control but Ruthless is having none of it.
Fillman breaks from Ruthless's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Fillman moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Ruthless has worked his arm free - good work by Ruthless!
Ruthless wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Fillman tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
An elbow from Fillman crashes against the mat.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fillman trying to control the action but Ruthless is working from the bottom.

Fillman throws a sloppy head kick and Ruthless moves out of range easily.
Ruthless scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Aon Fillman has been cut.
Ruthless stuffs the takedown attempt from Fillman. Fillman gets slowly back to his feet.
Fillman fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ruthless avoids it really well and circles away.
Ruthless getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Ruthless stalks Fillman and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Fillman's face. Fillman staggers backwards, shaken.
Fillman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aon Fillman. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fillman throws a combination. Ruthless tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fillman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ruthless.

Ruthless fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Ruthless connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Fillman walks into a jab.
Fillman fails with a takedown attempt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fillman walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Fillman misses with a head kick.
Fillman shoots in but no luck this time.
Ruthless scores with a nice head shot.
Lex Ruthless is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fillman walks into a straight right hand from Ruthless.
Ruthless connects with a looping right hand.
Ruthless lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Ruthless throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Fillman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ruthless is fending him off so far but Fillman persists. Nope, Ruthless circles away and we're back to standing.

A jab lands there for Fillman.
Ruthless will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Ruthless lands a nice looking body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ruthless connects with a nice looking jab.
Fillman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ruthless throws a jab but it's blocked by Fillman.
Ruthless lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Ruthless throws a sloppy head kick and Fillman moves out of range easily.
Fillman shoots in and drives through. Ruthless sprawls well.
Ruthless lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Lex Ruthless seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Ruthless throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Fillman is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
