Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jake DeSalvo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikhail Bakunin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DeSalvo's entrance music is Nine Inch Nails - All The Love In The World. A fine choice. Bakunin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. thats all kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bakunin throws a nice looking combination but DeSalvo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bakunin throws a right hand that DeSalvo ducks under and follows up with a left that DeSalvo also avoids with ease.
Bakunin fails with a takedown attempt.

Bakunin shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. DeSalvo defends it nicely.

Bakunin lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Bakunin is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

The fight stays on the outside here - Bakunin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bakunin shoots in looking for a takedown. DeSalvo tries to sprawl out of it but Bakunin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. DeSalvo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Bakunin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bakunin there as he acknowledges the shot.

DeSalvo throws a hook to the side of Bakunin's head but Bakunin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Bakunin closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

DeSalvo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Bakunin shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bakunin was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

That was a close round but I would say that Jake DeSalvo will probably get the nod.
