Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kahvin Keitin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Christus Pylqoe!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Konstantin Menshow and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keitin fails to land the takedown.
Pylqoe fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Pylqoe. No joy for Keitin on that attempt.

Keitin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Pylqoe is looking to improve his position.

Keitin looking for a submission but Pylqoe manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Keitin tries to free his leg and advance position but Pylqoe is retaining full guard.
Pylqoe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Keitin throws a strike but Pylqoe rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Keitin is trying to keep Pylqoe in close.

Keitin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pylqoe is one step ahead there.
Keitin working a defensive guard here.

Keitin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pylqoe defends it easily.

Keitin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Pylqoe is aware though and is defending well.

Keitin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Pylqoeis looking to pass into half guard but Keitin pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Keitin is in guard.
Keitin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Keitin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Pylqoe wants to stand up but Keitin is controlling him.

Keitin drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pylqoe looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pylqoe looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pylqoe!

Pylqoe decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Pylqoe is looking to clinch but Keitin is avoiding it.
Pylqoe tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Pylqoe tries to clinch up but Keitin circles away and keeps his distance.
Keitin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pylqoe pinned against the cage. Pylqoe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kahvin Keitin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Pylqoe looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pylqoe is looking to clinch.

Pylqoe tries to clinch there but Keitin circles away.

Keitin gets a takedown into half guard.
Pylqoe manages to get to full guard.
Keitin wants to control from the top but Pylqoe keeps moving.
Keitin missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Pylqoe striking off his back but it's not causing Keitin any problems.

Keitin drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pylqoe manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Keitin has Pylqoe in his guard.

Keitin looking for a guillotine here but Pylqoe defends easily.

Pylqoe sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Keitin doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Pylqoe paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Keitin - great work!
