The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jobber vX shoots in and drives through. Guy sprawls well.
Guy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jobber vX's guard.

Guy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

I looks like Guy might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The fight stays on the outside here - Jobber vX looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Guy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Guy throws a right and a left that Jobber vX avoids nicely.
Jobber vX rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Guy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Guy fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jobber vX sprawls well initially but Guy persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A left and a right from Guy both land. Nice combination.
That Guy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Guy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jobber vX looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Guy cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Jobber vX really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Well Guy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
