Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Soldado Warrior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Young Tutankhamon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soldado Warrior has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warrior will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Warrior fails with a takedown attempt.
Warrior shoots in looking for a takedown. Tutankhamon tries to sprawl out of it but Warrior keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tutankhamon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Warrior shoots for a double leg takedown but Tutankhamon sprawls well. He's pushed Warrior's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Soldado Warrior. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Tutankhamon uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Warrior.

Warrior gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Tutankhamon holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Tutankhamon has Warrior pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Tutankhamon pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Warrior tumbling to the mat - Tutankhamon dives into Warrior's guard.
Tutankhamon is working Warrior over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Tutankhamon jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Warrior is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Warrior and Tutankhamon has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Warrior pushes Tutankhamon away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Tutankhamon gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Warrior tries to buck Tutankhamon off but Tutankhamon is having none of it.
Tutankhamon is looking to take a break and control but Warrior is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Tutankhamon thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

and Tutankhamon counters with a one-two to the body.
Tutankhamon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tutankhamon wants it to stay on the feet.
Soldado Warrior seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown by Tutankhamon or perhaps it was just good defense by Warrior which made him look bad.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

You can see the frustration on Warrior's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Young Tutankhamon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Warrior's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Warrior fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tutankhamon avoids it really well and circles away.

Tutankhamon takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Tutankhamon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Warrior has his foot on Tutankhamon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tutankhamon works his way back into a safe position though.

Tutankhamon has hold of Warrior's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Warrior seems comfortable defending it but Tutankhamon has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Warrior is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Warrior is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Tutankhamon couldn't care less - he's delighted!
