Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Crombie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Neville (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crombie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Neville swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Crombie.

Crombie ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Neville moves away.
Crombie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Neville tries to avoid it but Crombie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Neville to the ground. Neville escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Ricky Neville showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Crombie's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Crombie shoots in for a takedown but Neville shows good takedown defense.
Crombie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Neville sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Crombie somewhat.

Neville has momentary wrist control but Crombie slips an elbow through the middle.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Crombie throws and elbow that misses. Neville uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Crombie's guard. Nice move by Neville!
Crombie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ricky Neville is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Neville wants to stand and escape but instead Crombie has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
