Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Killem Quick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ed Valquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quick comes to the cage accompanied by Ready, Able. Killem Quick has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Killem Quick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ed Valquez!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valquez tries to clinch up but Quick circles away and keeps his distance.
Valquez throws a head kick that misses.
Valquez tries to land a leg kick but Quick saw it coming and moves away.
Valquez throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Quick drives through and clinches with Valquez against the cage.
Valquez drops down looking for an ankle pick but Quick pulls his leg out and moves away.
Valquez takes a swing at Quick's ribcage but misses.
Valquez throws a sloppy head kick and Quick moves out of range easily.

Quick moves into range and clinches up with Valquez.
Valquez lands an elbow inside that Quick shrugs off.


It looks like Killem Quick has been cut.
Quick blocking some punches.
Quick is pressed up against the cage. Valquez has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Quick down to the mat. Quick avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Quick lands a right hook to the body.
A slow jab from Quick misses its intended target.
Valquez tries to land a front kick but Quick steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Quick really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and Quick counters with a one-two to the body.

and Quick counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Quick misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Quick moves into the clinch successfully.

Quick turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Quick is looking to take a break and control but Valquez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Quick knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Valquez on the ground.

Both fighters circling a little - Valquez finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Valquez creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Valquez creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Quick's defenses.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Valquez tries to throw a body punch but Quick avoids it by throwing Valquez back against the cage.

Quick has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Valquez clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Quick is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Quick feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Valquez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Quick manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Ed Valquez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Valquez has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
