Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Akira Kazama!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeff Sheehan!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheehan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Kazama looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Sheehan has hold of Kazama's hands but Kazama slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Sheehan wants to improve his position but Kazama is controlling well.

Kazama is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Sheehan pushes Kazama off looking to stand but Kazama dives back in and keeps control.

Oh but Kazama is tightening it up a little... Sheehan has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Sheehan reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Sheehan taps out! nice BJJ there by Kazama!
