The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macuco shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Nazuli sprawls well. Nazuli wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Macuco gets slowly back to his feet.
Macuco wants to slow Nazuli down by chopping away at his legs.
Nazuli tries to close the distance and clinch up but Macuco swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nazuli looks to land a combination but Macuco avoids it well.
Macuco shoots in for a takedown but Nazuli shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Nazuli bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee asks Nazuli politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Nazuli prefers to stall for the moment though.

Nazuli throws the kick towards the body but Macuco avoids it.
Nazuli will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Nazuli jumps guard but Macuco stands there with Nazuli around his waist. Nazuli gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
