Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ty Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson has chosen Embalingan ka den tayan as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Fisher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ty Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Steve Montenegro and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jackson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Fisher is wriggling around trying to escape.

Jackson has control of Fisher's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Fisher regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Fisher is squirming around, avoiding Jackson's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Jackson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Fisher is trying to stand.

Fisher bucks up and throws Jackson to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Fisher shoots and misses

and Jackson counters with a takedown into side control.
Fisher is breathing heavily.
Jackson wants to control but Fisher is keeping him busy.

Jackson has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Jackson drives through and clinches with Fisher against the ropes.
Jackson is pressed up against the ropes. Fisher has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jackson down to the mat. Jackson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jackson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Fisher wants to control but Jackson is having none of it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jackson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fisher does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Ty Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

A nice inside leg kick there by Fisher. That's going to slow Jackson down.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Jackson.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jackson is nestled in close to Fisher, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Fisher is looking for a sweep. Jackson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Jackson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Fisher is trying to control but can't.
Well, if Jackson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Fisher is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Nick Fisher has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

I've got Jackson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
