Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leandro Pinheiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Cote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinheiro fails with a takedown attempt.

Pinheiro shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cote manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Pinheiro trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Pinheiro trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Pinheiro wants to stand and escape but instead Cote has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Cote stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pinheiro swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Pinheiro has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Cote wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pinheiro, who protects the arm well.
Pinheiro is looking to regain half guard here but Cote keeps moving and retains side control.

Pinheiro is looking to improve his position but Cote isn't that keen on the idea.
Cote throws some wild stikes that Pinheiro manages to avoid easily.

Cote looking for a guillotine from mount but Pinheiro is having none of it.

Cote moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Pinheiro has worked his arm free - good work by Pinheiro!
Pinheiro gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Pinheiro throws a head kick but Cote moves out of range.

Pinheiro is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Pinheiro tries for a takedown but Cote sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Cote moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Cote tries to bum rush Pinheiro with a series of wild strikes but Pinheiro uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cote tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pinheiro sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cote somewhat.
Brian Cote seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cote uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Cote throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pinheiro.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cote lands with a big right hook that stumbles Pinheiro - he's out on his feet here! Cote follows up with another monster hook that separates Pinheiro from consciousness! Pinheiro falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Cote stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
