Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dave Earp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krista Stuls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stuls has chosen Headstrong as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stuls shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Earp pinned against the cage. Earp gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Stuls.
Stuls tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Stuls looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Earp is fending him off so far but Stuls persists. Nope, Earp circles away and we're back to standing.

Earp has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Stuls is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Earp yanks on the arm and Stuls is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Earp.
