The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers shoots in but Domo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Domo connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Domo cracks Powers with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Domo could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Powers shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Domo napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Domo lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Powers is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Domo.

Powers shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Domo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Domo holds on and takes a little breather.
Domo's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Powers tries to score a power double leg takedown but Domo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Powers somewhat.

Powers shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Domo sprawls well. Domo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Powers gets slowly back to his feet.

Domo sizes up Powers with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Powers takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Powers takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Domo lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Powers can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Domo and Powers drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Domo.
