Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Michael Bisping (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Holley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holley has chosen NAS - Hate Me Now as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Charles Holley enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Bisping!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Charles Holley!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bisping.
Bisping looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Holley throws a leg kick but Bisping moved away.
Bisping avoids a punch combination nicely.
Holley misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Holley is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bisping's half guard.
Holley wants to take a breather but Bisping is having none of it.

Holley decides to stand and escape the position.
Holley shoots in for a double leg but Bisping sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Holley throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Bisping showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Holley.

Holley shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Holley decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Bisping really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bisping gets caught flat footed, as Holley shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Holley gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Holley has his takedown stuffed

and Bisping counters with a nice double leg into side control. Holley won't be happy with that.
Michael Bisping has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charles Holley.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Holley dodges the ground and pound from Bisping.
Bisping is looking to take a break and control but Holley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Holley is looking for a sweep.
Holley is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Holley has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bisping is working away from the top position though.

Holley kicks off Bisping and gets to his feet.

Holley pushes Bisping up against the cage in a clinch.

Holley gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Bisping regains guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Holley wants to control from the top but Bisping keeps moving.
Bisping utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Holley drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Holley jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Holley stands up and waves to Bisping to follow him.
Holley throws a sloppy head kick and Bisping moves out of range easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Holley decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Holley working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Holley is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bisping has managed to free his arm - good work.

Holley is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Holley decides to stand and escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Charles Holley dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Holley dives in and grabs Bisping's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bisping pushes down on Holley's head and hops out.

Bisping gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Holley to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Holley gets to his feet - Bisping follows without any prompting.
Bisping tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Holley decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bisping's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Holley gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Holley closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Holley decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Holley misses with a takedown attempt - Bisping sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Holley shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Holley showed some decent athleticism there.
Holley passes to full mount!

Holley working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Holley goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Bisping turns into him and now he's in Holley's guard.
Holley manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bisping manages to get himself to full guard.

Holley drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Holley jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Holley drops back looking for a leg! Bisping is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bisping manages to kick Holley off! Holley jumps back into Bisping's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Holley stands and steps away. Bisping gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
A right-left combo lands from Holley.
Holley throws a right hand that Bisping ducks under and follows up with a left that Bisping also avoids with ease.
Holley throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Holley looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bisping throws a head kick that misses

and Holley counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Holley drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bisping manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Holley has Bisping in his guard.
Bisping trying to control but Holley is working from the bottom.

Holley working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bisping doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bisping manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Bisping wants to stand but Holley has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Charles Holley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!



Holley changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bisping looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Holley stands up and beckons Bisping to his feet.
Holley shoots in and drives through. Bisping sprawls well.

Holley scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Holley stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Bisping lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Holley circles away quickly and effectively.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Holley.
Michael Bisping seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Holley tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bisping manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Holley has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bisping tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Holley.
Michael Bisping has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charles Holley.
Holley blocks a head kick by Bisping.

Holley drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Holley swings around for an armbar but Bisping sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Holley's guard.
Bisping tries to stand but Holley is controlling from the bottom.
Bisping wants to stand and escape but instead Holley has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Holley passes Bisping's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Holley escapes and gets back to his feet.

Holley shoots in and gets a takedown into Bisping's guard.

Holley is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bisping is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bisping has escaped and now he's on top!
Well,Bisping is on his way to losing a decision here. Can he use his experience to pull something off in the closing minutes?
Bisping is looking to stand up but Holley won't let him.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Holley kicks Bisping off and gets to his feet.
Nice takedown defense from Bisping. No joy for Holley on that attempt.
Holley moves out of range of the strikes.
Bisping misses with an uppercut.

Holley drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Holley wants to control for a moment but Bisping uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Holley is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Holley working for a guillotine from mount but Bisping is in no mood to give up.

Holley stands up from mount. Strange move.
Holley looks to land a combination. Bisping sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Michael Bisping is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bisping tries to close the distance and clinch up but Holley swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Holley feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Charles Holley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Holley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
