The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pitbull fails with a takedown attempt.
Pitbull shoots for a double leg takedown but Oliveira sprawls well. He's pushed Pitbull's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pitbull moves in looking to clinch but Oliveira pushes him off.
Pitbull shoots for a takedown but Oliveira saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Thiago Oliveira has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gabriel Pitbull.

Oliveira closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pitbull is looking for a sweep.

Oliveira is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Pitbull looks calm but he's in trouble here. Oliveira gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Pitbull is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Oliveira lets go of the hold and Pitbull can pop his arm back in it's socket.
