The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ueda staying out of range there.

Ueda is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Penn's half guard.

Ueda uses his free foot to push down on Penn's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Penn.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ueda cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Ueda lands a big shot there that rocks Penn but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
