Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hammer Fists (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and joe twack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fists throws a right and a left that both miss.
twack throws a head kick but Fists moves out of range.
Hammer Fists seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
twack swats away the attempt to clinch by Fists.
No joy there for Fists, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fists fails with an attempt to clinch.

twack fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fists sprawls well initially but twack persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
twack is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Fists!
Fists is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

twack gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Fists misses with the combination.
Fists throws a series of strikes that have twack backpedaling.

It looks like joe twack has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

twack shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fists manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
twack advances to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fists is trying to control but can't.
twack seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
twack trying to control the pace.
twack is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
twack is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
twack lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
twack working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
twack is controlling the pace.

twack decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Fists is breathing heavily.
twack shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fists as he avoids it easily.

twack clinches with his opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
twack tries to score a body lock takedown but Fists shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

twack manages to break the clinch.

twack changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fists looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Fists knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for twack on the ground.
Fists is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

twack decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Fists looks to clinch

and twack moves into the clinch.

twack jumps guard.
twack scores with a short punch from the bottom.
Fists tries to free his leg and advance position but twack is retaining full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

twack has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Fists should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, twack has tightened it up now! Fists should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
