Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Virgil Beck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Logan Nail (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beck comes to the cage accompanied by Cell Therapy by Goodie Mob. The crowd seem to be enjoying Nail's choice of entrance music: Ain't No Sunshine. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beck moves into range and clinches up with Nail.
Nail gets underhooks to prevent Beck's takedown attempt.
Beck has hold of one of Nail's legs. Nail is fighting the takedown attempt but Beck gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Beck stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nail swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Logan Nail seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Beck with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Nail to score with a decent uppercut.

Beck shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Nail's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Beck accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Nail is wriggling around but Beck manages to pass to half guard.
