Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Tyson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Captain Blood!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blood misses with a wild combination.
Tyson swings for the body but Blood moves out of range.

Blood is looking to take a break and control but Tyson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Tyson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Blood sprawls well initially but Tyson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Tyson is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Blood makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

A left lands for Tyson.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Tyson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Blood is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Blood working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tyson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tyson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Blood lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Tyson!
Tyson is squirming around, avoiding Blood's attempts to control the action.
Blood seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Tyson is holding on tight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Blood counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tyson won't be happy with that.

Blood had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Tyson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Blood Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Tyson's back instead.

Blood changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tyson tries to avoid it but Blood manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tyson to the ground. Tyson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
