Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mighty Mike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mabishiro Sakamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mabishiro Sakamoto will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mike shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sakamoto is trying to defend but Mike finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sakamoto looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Mike passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Sakamoto!

Mike is working for a guillotine from mount but Sakamoto frees his head quite easily.

Mike looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Mike jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Sakamoto manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Mike lands a nice forearm strike.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mike throws a strike aimed at the side of Sakamoto's head but Sakamoto avoids it well.
Mike is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Sakamoto will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Mike is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Sakamoto looks calm but he's in trouble here. Mike gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Sakamoto is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Mike lets go of the hold and Sakamoto can pop his arm back in it's socket.
