Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruce Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jhonny Cage!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cage decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cage has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Cage is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Lee to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Lee shrugs it off.
Cage with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Lee is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Lee has given up his back.
Lee looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Lee tries to escape the position.
Cage has managed to slip his arm under Lee's chin. This could be all over... yep, Lee is tapping out! Submission win for Cage.
