PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jules Neil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sasha Morgansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgansen has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Neil does no damage.

Neil ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Neil no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Morgansen looks up at the clock and then as Neil takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Morgansen smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Neil is not content to let Morgansen control the position.
Morgansen working the strikes but Neil uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Morgansen not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Morgansen wants to pass to mount but Neil is defending the position.
Sasha Morgansen has got the better of the ground game so far.
Morgansen stops Neil from getting back to his feet.

Neil is looking for a sweep. Morgansen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Neil wants to control but Morgansen is keeping busy.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Neil moves in looking to clinch but Morgansen pushes him off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sasha Morgansen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!



Neil closes the distance and clinches.
Neil tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Neil gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Sasha Morgansen has been cut.
