Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Giba Negrao!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Negrao looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Maxwell!
Negrao scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Negrao jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Maxwell manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Negrao has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Negrao tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Maxwell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Maxwell on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Negrao trying to control the position but Maxwell is working away.
Negrao passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Maxwell!

Negrao can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Maxwell is looking to escape.
Negrao throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Negrao sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Maxwell working to try and regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Maxwell is staying active underneath Negrao, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Negrao tries to pass the half guard into mount. Maxwell knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Negrao seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Maxwell does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Negrao is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Maxwell reverses the position - he's now on top in Negrao's guard.
Negrao trying to keep a closed guard but Maxwell is proving a slippery customer.
Maxwell is looking to stand up but Negrao won't let him.
Negrao trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Maxwell avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Negrao wants to sweep but no luck.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Negrao takes a jab right on the kisser.
It looks like Giba Negrao has been cut.
Maxwell lands a big right hand that sends Negrao crashing to the mat! Maxwell stays standing though and waves Negrao back to his feet!
Negrao is rocked!
Maxwell darts in and clinches Negrao up against the cage.
Negrao is still on wobbly legs! Can Maxwell finish him?
Negrao tries to pull guard but Maxwell won't allow it.
Maxwell breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jones Maxwell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Negrao tries to clinch there but Maxwell circles away.
Negrao seems to have recovered his senses.
Maxwell drops Negrao with a huge uppercut! Negrao drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Maxwell is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jones Maxwell!
