Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Janakoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sadollah Amir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sadollah Amir is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amir fails to land the takedown.
Janakoff just misses with a punch to the body.
Amir throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Amir thows a body kick. Janakoff tries to catch it but that hurt him.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Janakoff wants to get back to striking at distance but Amir won't allow it.

Janakoff's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Janakoff ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Amir swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Janakoff is now in Amir's guard. A big mistake from Amir there, giving up the dominant position!
Amir has momentary wrist control but Janakoff slips an elbow through the middle.
Janakoff stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Amir swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Amir has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Janakoff can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
