Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davi Ayoub (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Johnson lands in his opponent's guard.

Johnson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Johnson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Ayoub is looking for a triangle but Johnson pushes his legs off easily.

Ayoub escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Johnson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Johnson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Johnson wants to control from the top but Ayoub keeps moving.
Johnson tries to free his leg and advance position but Ayoub is retaining full guard.
Johnson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Johnson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Ayoub is looking for a sweep. Johnson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Ayoub working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Johnson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Johnson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Ayoub has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Johnson doesn't defend quickly enough and Ayoub has managed to lock this one up! Can Johnson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ayoub on a fantastic submission victory.
